​CMSgt. Jose Barraza, the former command chief of the 12th Air Force, faces 17 charges at his Article 32 hearing Tuesday at Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz. The hearing will determine whether Barraza, who was removed from duty in November 2016, will face general court-martial. "CMSgt Barraza is charged with one specification for willfully disobeying an order, seven specifications for dereliction of duty, two specifications for making false official statements, two specifications of indecent recording, and five specifications for obstruction of justice in violation of UCMJ Articles 90, 92, 107, 120c, and 134 respectively,” according to an Air Combat Command statement released Monday. No additional details were provided.
