US Air Force F-16s and a C-130, along with a Navy P-8 Poseidon, recently flew demonstration flights as part of a large airshow in India. The Pacific Air Forces F-16 Fighting Falcon demonstration team from Misawa AB, Japan, performed last month at the Aero India 2017 show at Air Force Station Yelahanka, according to a PACAF release. A C-130J deployed to PACAF from the 143rd Airlift Wing of the Rhode Island Air National Guard flew a parachute demonstration with airmen from the 320th Special Tactics Squadron at Kadena AB, Japan, and members of the Indian Army’s 2nd Parachute Regiment, the release states. The C-130’s flight was the culmination of a two-week training event, which was also the first time a new USAF J-model has operated on the Indian subcontinent, the release states.
