More A-10s will make their way to Europe as the Air Force bolsters its security presence to reassure Eastern European allies in light of Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Twelve A-10s from the 23rd Wing at Moody AFB, Ga., will deploy to locations throughout Central and Eastern European NATO countries this coming fall, according to a 23rd Wing release. The theater security package program, the first of which deployed to Europe in February, sends Air Force units and aircraft throughout the continent to supplement training and cooperation activities. USAF leaders have repeatedly touted the success of the expanded engagement the TSPs have offered, and indicate they will likely continue for the foreseeable future. The "Flying Tigers" at Moody are deploying after A-10s from the 354th Fighter Squadron from Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., returned from a rotation earlier this month.
