Lisa Disbrow is now in place as the Air Force's assistant secretary for financial management, a service spokeswoman told Air Force Magazine on Wednesday. Disbrow assumed her new responsibilities at the end of July, days after the Senate on July 24 confirmed President Obama's nomination of her. She filled the leadership void created when Jamie Morin left the finance post to lead the Pentagon's Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation Office. Disbrow, a retired Air Force colonel, comes to the Air Force Secretariat from the Joint Staff's J8 directorate, where she served as vice director for force structure, resources, and assessment.
