The United States will begin relocating the
DARPA-developed Space Surveillance
Telescope from White Sands Missile Range, N.M., to Australia in 2014
based on the agreement the two nations signed in late November 2013, announced
DARPA on Dec. 6, 2013. The telescope is expected to commence operations at Naval
Communication Station Harold E. Holt in Exmouth in Western Australia in 2016,
