The 8th Air Force Museum at Barksdale AFB, La., is now called the Barksdale Global Power Museum after a rededication ceremony on Oct. 2, 2012. The new name is part of the museum's rebranding to broaden its scope to focus on aspects of the global power mission associated with Barksdale, which is the seat of Air Force Global Strike Command and home to the 2nd Bomb Wing. Here, Col. Andrew Gebara, 2nd BW commander, and Terri Snook, 8th Air Force Museum Association president, pull down the tarp to reveal the museum's new name during the ceremony.
