Members of the 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron supporting the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing at its undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia installed a TPS-75 air surveillance radar there in mid March 2012 to improve long-range, real-time coverage of Arabian Gulf airspace. The new system gives the squadron's radar operators a larger and a more detailed picture as they monitor all air activity in the area, said unit officials. Here, members of the 727th EACS set up the TPS-75, March 18, 2012.
