The Air Force Scientific Advisory Board has completed its review of the F-22's on-board oxygen-generating system, said Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz during a Center for Strategic and International Studies-sponsored speech in Washington, D.C., Feb. 9, 2012. The board found no smoking gun as to why F-22 pilots have experienced symptoms akin to lack of sufficient oxygen in flight, he said. Here, an F-22 takes off from Holloman AFB, N.M.
