Officials have approved plans for the $4.5 million renovation of the Sam Johnson Fitness Center at Homestead ARB, Fla., home of Air Force Reserve Command's 482nd Fighter Wing, announced base officials, March 30, 2012. Construction is scheduled to start in mid May 2102 and take about one year to complete, they said. The renovation will include a 1,200-square-foot expansion, new fitness rooms, a retail shop, juice bar, steam rooms, and massage room. The center also will get an updated exterior facade.
