Air Force Research Lab engineers recently began testing a scaled model of Lockheed Martin's jet-powered short takeoff and landing transport concept at the National Full Scale Aerodynamics Complex, the world's largest wind tunnel, at Moffett Field, Calif., announced AFRL officials, Nov. 22, 2011.
