The National Museum of the US Air Force has received a $5 million donation from Boeing to help fund the construction of a new 200,000 square foot addition, museum officials announced, Feb. 17, 2011. The new building will house the museum's collection of Presidential transports, aerial refueling tankers, cargo platforms as well as its space gallery. Construction of this addition, shown here in an artist's rendering, is scheduled to commence in 2013. The facility is slated to open in 2014.
