With a final formation flyby, 11 aircraft left Kulis Air National Guard Base in Anchorage, Alaska, for nearby Joint Base Elmendorf on Feb. 12, 2011, signaling the official move of Kulis' 176th Wing to Elmendorf and ending operations at Kulis, per BRAC 2005. Kulis had been home to the 176th Wing since 1952. Here, the Kulis C-130s, HC-130s, and HH-60Gs fly over the base one last time en route to Elmendorf.
