Captive-carry testing of Raytheon's Small Tactical Munition phase II system has concluded, paving the way for flight tests, announced the company, Nov. 30, 2011. STM phase II is a 12-pound, 22-inch-long, precision-guided bomb specifically designed for employment from remotely piloted aircraft and manned counterinsurgency platforms.
