Air Force Cyber Doctrine—Download Complete: The Air Force's new cyberspace operations doctrine has rolled off the press. The doctrine outlines USAF cyberspace operations and its importance, and it discusses items like cyberspace fundamentals, command and organizational information, and the design, planning, execution, and assessment process. "Today, our society relies on technology and cyberspace more than ever, and this medium must be secure," said Maj. Gen. David Fadok, who commands the LeMay Center for Doctrine Development and Education at Maxwell AFB, Ala., in introducing the doctrine. His organization approved the doctrine, which is formally known as Air Force Doctrine Document 3-12. "The joint warfighting team, including the Air Force, must lead the way in cyberspace to ensure we maintain a distinct advantage over our adversaries in this contested domain," he added.
