Bronze Star for Scott Airman: TSgt. Heather Henry, noncommissioned officer in charge of Air Mobility Command's commander's action group at Scott AFB, Ill., has received the Bronze Star medal for her meritorious service in Afghanistan. During her six-month deployment, Henry, a cyberspace support specialist, was a staff assistant with NATO's Combined Joint Psychological Operations Task Force. This group's mandate is win over the hearts and minds of the local population via mass media—TV, radio, and newspapers. Henry went beyond her original job responsibilities and found additional ways to support the task force. "[B]y the time my tour was over, I had found myself on more than 54 outside-the-wire missions serving as a truck commander, photographer, filming assistant, and even a site surveyor for future TV spots," she said. Lt. Gen. Rusty Findley, AMC vice commander, presented her the medal on Nov. 16. (Scott report by SrA. Andrew Davis)
