Air Force Reservists from the 910th Airlift Wing at Youngstown ARS, Ohio, continue to operate two specially modified C-130H aircraft from Stennis, Miss., to spray dispersing agent on the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the Tampa Tribune reported May 10. Between May 1, 2010, the start of these operations, and May 9, 2010, these two airplanes had distributed 58,036 gallons of dispersant over 11,573 acres of water, according to the newspaper, citing a US Northern Command official.
