Air Force and Army officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new aircraft parking ramp at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, June 4, 2010. The now-completed construction project features an 18-acre parking area with five in-the-ground fueling points. Bagram officials say the ramp greatly expands the base's capacity to support coalition operations in the Central Asian nation. Here, Col. Christopher Pike, commander of Bagram's 455th Expeditionary Mission Support Group, opens the new ramp during the ceremony.
