The commander of the Montana Air National Guard's 120th Fighter Wing in Great Falls declared the unit to be ready for real-world operations, if called upon, June 6, 2010. With this declaration of initial operational capability, the unit has completed its BRAC 2005-mandated conversion from F-16s to F-15s one full year ahead of schedule.
