A team of about 60 active-duty airmen from the 86th Maintenance Squadron at Ramstein AB, Germany, began the very first isochronal inspection of one of the base's new C-130J transports, May 26, 2010. Ramstein's 37th Airlift Squadron began receiving the first of its 14 planned C-130Js in April 2009. As of early March 2010, 11 of them were in place. Plans calls for inspecting the unit's C-130Js at the rate of about one aircraft every month in the order that they were received.
