Style Central: A new public Web site is now available to airmen to help educate and inform them about the Air Force's dress and appearance standards and policies, service officials announced Wednesday. The Air Force Dress and Appearance Web site is designed to be a comprehensive, user-friendly, online resource for airmen stationed around the world, said Ruth Ewalt, director of the Air Force Uniforms and Recognition Branch at Randolph AFB, Tex. "We wanted to create a place where all airmen can view any uniform combination in detail," she explained. She continued, "This eliminates confusing rumors about the latest versions of Air Force uniforms." The Web site features interactive slideshows, uniform regulations, detailed photos, and uniform policy updates. Even with the Web site, airmen are still advised to continue working through their chain of command for clarifications and guidance. (Randolph report by SSgt. Steve Grever)
