Russia's new fifth-generation stealth fighter flew for the first time Jan. 29, 2010, according to a release by the aircraft's manufacturer Sukhoi, flown for 47 minutes by company test pilot Sergey Bogdan. Production of the Pak Fa, also known as the T-50, is to be a joint effort between Russia and India, according to Sukhoi Company Director General Mikhail Pogosyan. Here, the new fighter is on a high-speed taxi run.
