Everyone is Accountable: The Air Force leadership recently took administrative action against five generals after a lengthy Defense Department comptroller investigation concluded that they had a role in obligating $87 million too much for Air Force permanent-change-of-station moves when they managed the account in 2005. Receiving letters of admonishment this fall were Gen. Roger Brady, Gen. Stephen Lorenz, Lt. Gen. Glenn Spears, Maj. Gen. Anthony Przybyslawski, and now-retired Brig. Gen. Sandra Gregory. In 2005, Brady oversaw personnel issues on the Air Staff and Lorenz managed the Air Force's budget. The others also held high USAF budget and personnel positions. "Everyone is accountable for their actions, and we expect the highest standards of conduct from everyone in the Air Force—regardless of rank—and senior leaders have a special responsibility to those who follow them," said Air Force Secretary Michael Donley in a statement provided to the Daily Report.
