Gen. Mark Welsh assumed command of US Air Forces in Europe during a ceremony at Ramstein AB, Germany, Dec. 13, 2010. He replaced Gen. Roger Brady, who led the command since January 2008 and is retiring. Welsh said his priorities are taking care of airmen and executing the mission. He joins USAFE after more than two years as the CIA's associate director for military affairs in Washington, D.C. Here, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen.
