Korean Air Chief Donates Items to Museum: The National Museum of the US Air Force has added several items to its Korean War Exhibit, which is undergoing a redesign to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War, courtesy of Gen. Lee Kae Hoon, the current Air Force Chief of Staff for South Korea. During a recent visit to the museum in Dayton, Ohio, he turned over several items, including an Ulchi Medal, the Republic of Korea's second highest military award and which had been posthumously awarded to Capt. Lim Taek Soon, and the operations log for combat pilot Lee Baesun, who flew 48 missions in 1952. The museum plans to open the redesigned Korean War Exhibit this summer. (Museum report by Sarah Swan)
