The Air Force has inspected and applied new wing-joint barrel nuts where needed to all C-130 Hercules transports operating in Southwest Asia. It has others still awaiting barrel nut replacements, expected to arrive at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center April 8, 2009, but overall about two-thirds of its C-130 fleet is back in the air. Here, A1C Kelliea Guthrie and SrA. Greg Ellis, part of a Fly Away Security Team assigned to the 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, provide security for a C-130 during a cargo mission at Feyzabab Airfield in Afghanistan, on April 23, 2008.
