The House Armed Services Committee’s addition of $369 million in long-lead funding for 12 F-22s in the Fiscal 2010 defense authorization bill version it approved on June 17, 2009, would leave a 10-month production gap between the last four F-22s now on order and these 12 airframes, according to industry sources.
