US airmen gathered Feb. 20 to pay respects to nine airmen who died during World War II, formally placing rosettes next to their names at a memorial in Belgium to signify they are no longer Missing in Action. Here, SSgt. Walter O. Schlosser's engraved name includes the rosette. He was part of a B-24 bomber crew of the 492nd Bombardment Group.
