The US Air Force Air Warfare Center at Nellis AFB, Nev., will run an extended Red Flag exercixe, 09-3 starting Feb. 23, 2009, to test the feasibility of conducted focused mission training, in this case for close air support missions that have become the standard for air operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
