The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker AFB, Okla., is preparing for the introduction of F117 engine work starting in 2010 under a partnership with Pratt & Whitney, the engine's maker, Tinker officials announced Nov. 25, 2009. Oklahoma City will work with Pratt to maintain the Air Force's inventory of approximately 1,000 F117s, four of which power each C-17 transport.
