Attention All Civilians: The Air Force is now accepting applications, due by Sept, 4, to determine the next crop of its civilian employees who will take part in the professional development initiative called civilian acculturation leadership training. The CALT program, which hosted its inaugural class last October, is taught at Maxwell AFB, Ala. It is designed to provide an officer training school-like experience to teach the Air Force’s culture and mission as well as the role of leaders in overall team success. “This is an exceptional opportunity to bring together our best and brightest that have already shown leadership qualities the Air Force needs for developing future leaders," said Michelle LoweSolis, director for Civilian Force Integration in the Air Force Personnel Center at Randolph AFB, Tex. The first class in Fiscal 2010 kicks off Oct. 26. (Randolph report by Maj. Beth Kelley Horine)
