New Predator Wing Ready for Flood Work: The Air Force’s new Predator unmanned aerial vehicle wing at Creech AFB, Nev., has been poised to help with rescue and recovery in areas of Missouri hard hit by flood waters. Activated earlier this month, the 432nd Wing put airmen and four of its 60 MQ-1 Predators on standby late last week, in case US Northern Command called for their assistance. The FAA gave clearance last year for Predators to fly over the US for disaster relief efforts.
