A Plan By June?: Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Michael Moseley has assigned homework to his major command chiefs for their Corona Top meeting in June. Moseley wants to know from Air Combat Command’s Gen. Ronald Keys just exactly how many more battlefield airmen Keys will need to proportionately integrate with the newly enlarging Army and Marine Corps. From Air Mobility Command boss Gen. Duncan McNabb, Moseley wants an update of last year’s Mobility Capabilities Study explaining how many more strategic airlifters will be required to accommodate those ground force increases. Moseley told reporters at the Pentagon Monday that he needs to ”get some answers back quickly” on these issues to figure out where to go with mobility and personnel plans in the 2009 budget.
