Cadets Tire of Surveys: The Pentagon plans to stop quizzing military academy cadets every year about sexual assaults and harassment because the cadets have developed “survey fatigue,” reports the Times Herald-Record of New York’s Hudson Valley. The Pentagon apparently got the Senate to include a change to every other year surveys in its version of the 2007 defense authorization bill. Whether it would remain after the House-Senate conference is uncertain, especially since some Congressmen believe the issue is still way too hot to reduce emphasis.
