AFSOC spokesman Matt Durham tells the newspaper that AFSOC believes either Cannon or Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., would suit the command’s plans, which include gaining a training facility with desert-like conditions. An AFSOC team visited Cannon earlier this year.
