What to do With a C-5 Cockpit: Technicians at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., plan to make use of the cockpit portion of the C-5 Galaxy that crashed April 3 in a field just off Dover AFB, Del., reports the Wilmington (Del.) News Journal. They want to use it to test avionics upgrades for the C-5. The ALC is in the process of adapting its C-141 avionics test simulator to the C-5 maintenance program. Currently, they say the only way to test C-5 upgrades is by flying the airlifter.
