It’s Not Info Ops Anymore: The Air Force plans today to stand up its first network warfare wing—changing the 67th Information Operations Wing to the 67th Network Warfare Wing. And, as part of the service’s push to centralize its network operations, the redesignated wing, which is headquartered at Lackland AFB, Tex., will create two new centers—one at Langley AFB, Va., and one at Peterson AFB, Colo.—to serve as integrated network operations and security centers. The new I-NOSCs will each oversee the network ops of four major commands, eliminating the need for each Majcom to have its own network ops centers.
