A Hangar For All Seasons: The new hangar USAF built at Andersen AFB, Guam, is typical of the type of construction being planned for Andersen, according to Lt. Col. Marvin Smith, 36th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron commander. It was built specifically for the B-2 bomber, but it is also being used for other aircraft, in particular the routine phase maintenance conducted on B-52 bombers, which visit the facility after 300 flying hours in a forward location.
